The Goun Collection embraces the minimalism and natural imperfections of Baekja. Fire-finished, each piece draws upon the thousand-year tradition of ceramics from Yeoju, South Korea, bringing an artful, modern heritage to your table.
Despite ceramics’ delicate reputation, ours are lightweight yet sturdy enough for everyday use, as well as dishwasher- and microwave-safe.
The Goun set has a subtle luminosity that gives each piece a distinct presence. It’s like holding a lighted cloud. Beautifully and thoughtfully designed, you almost want to display them as art. But, using them on a daily basis adds a bit of pleasure to the everyday. Looking forward to adding additional sets.

This set far exceeded my expectations. What a beautiful milky white clay, while the fine specks gives it depth so it doesn’t look flat. The bowls are especially great, from the shape to the way they feel in your hand. Wish I could get 6 place settings, but for now, I’ll have to settle on one set to use as serving pieces.
