MK Finds: Farmhouse Pottery

Farmhouse Pottery is committed to celebration of New England craftsmanship. Designed in their Vermont studio, each item they make is crafted slowly and with a commitment to the skill it takes to make something truly beautiful. It’s never rushed and always thoughtful. Farmhouse Pottery is led by founder James Zillian and includes over 40 craftspeople, many of whom are working directly in their Woodstock headquarters.

A constant student, James Zillian’s love of ceramics began in a high school arts class. Over years of studying, residency and working, he honed his craft, developing an aesthetic that blends locally-inspired Vermont design with old English pottery and Wabi Sabi philosophy. Today, he draws inspiration from antiquing, traveling and the potters working around him.

Take a peek into our shopping carts. MK Finds shows off brands we love, items we’re coveting and quality we trust. Hand-selected by us, each item is made in small batches by masters of their craft around the world. They're keepers.
